We have just the wedding to help get your Monday off to a bright and pretty start!

Have I mentioned that I am a fan of the colour orange? Give me a crayon and I would like it to be orange please. It is such a happy hue. And when this citrusy celebration is combined with beautiful weather, pretty florals, scrumptious looking spread of cakes & treats and a bride with sense of style, we are happily in love!

What got us happier is the wedding stories sent to us from the groom! We do not get this often and its simply (and always) sweet for the groom to take some time and write about how he met and fell in love with his girl.

And we are envious that Melvin and Bobby of Multifolds Photography seem to always witness some of the most beautiful weddings and the way they capture them is nothing short of Magic. From the floral settings to the desserts and all the newlywed smooches in between, we are smitten with each and every image. Caroline of DoWed created this picture perfect day with all the vibrant sunshine. (Thanks to Caroline for providing us the wedding details too!) And the fabulous flowers? They were whipped up by The Olive 3. Monday isn’t looking so bad after all, right?

{the love story}

We were acquaintance in NTU, in different years of the same course. Both of us stay in the north eastern part of Singapore. I remember that we first started talking on the North East Line, after running into each other several times on the train. She had just finish attending a concert, and myself on the way home after classes. She looked like she was ‘stoning’, so i thought why not just make some small talk.  Several more of such meet-ups while returning home from school created opportunities to bring the relationship further. Before long, we started communicating through Internet Messenger and SMS. Several months later, She joined me on an overseas trip with friends, and we got together! ~ Billy

{the proposal}

Nothing really romantic. The Ring didn’t come as a surprise as she bought it with me (in fact she chose and i paid…how ‘un’ romantic). We went on a holiday to Banyan Tree, Bintan, with the intent to celebrate her birthday in advance. While strolling along the beach, i guided her to a platform (it so happened that there was such a platform in the middle of a beach!) where i proposed with the Ring. This part she was unaware as she thought i don’t usually bring expensive stuff overseas. ~ Billy

Tic Tac minis were one of the favors for guests! Candies of great nostalgia, especially to the bride.
